Pagefile.sys is a mixed-media exhibition that takes its name from a computer's virtual cache drive. The project highlights the fragility of digital memory, proposing that we consistently rely too heavily on these electronic records, but a single technical failure can easily erase everything. If we lost the records, how can we reflect on our memories and identities?

I built a visual narrative by exploring how our identities are digitised across four different media — text, audio, images, and video. And further construct the storytelling by moving image and exhibition curation. It brings the audience to rethink how our identity and memory are being digitalised and encourages us to immerse ourselves in presenting rather than recording our lives on our phones.
